I’ve bloody done it! LITERALLY couch to 30 mins (4K). Took me 13 weeks as I def needed more that 1 day between runs, I took a week off due to a holiday and my husband is away a lot so hard to fit in with childcare anyway!
So just goes to show, if I can do it YOU CAN 😀😀😀 I’m 45, I’ve never run or found a sport / exercise I’ve stuck at. I think I have now 👌🏼🤗
Look at my chuffed face.

Congratulations! A fabulous photo of someone who thoroughly deserves to look chuffed! It is a huge achievement, well done! I hope you are going to celebrate? 🎉
Well done. You have every right to feel pleased with yourself. Every success story on here is a great incentive to the rest of us still in the early stages. Thanks for keeping us all motivated.
😂 That's pretty much my plan too! Keep posting on here and we can get to the magical 5k together! I graduate tomorrow and would love to get nearer to 4k for that... Fingers crossed!
Well done and congratulations on graduating Milajayne, that's a great picture and I hope that smile doesn't fade any time soon!
Enjoy the celebrating later and keep us posted on how you find reaching 5k and anything more. Maybe if you haven't already seek out a parkrun, they are pretty fun
Don't feel too scared Milayane, I checked the stats on last week's one that's nearest me and 100 people finished their 5k in over an hour. There will be people there that probably walk all or most of the way. I hope you grow in confidence soon 😊
