So I have just finished the last run of week four and even though I felt really tired both physically and mentally today, I am high fiving myself (yeah, quite the sight) for summoning up the motivation to do it. I feel so much better for it although I found it to be the hardest run of the week and my fuel warning light came on!
I am going to have two rest days before starting week 5 and then look out 'cos I'm ready for you!

A wise choice! I might go get myself one now actually - I ran this morning too! 😉 I hope your sense of fulfilment lasts through work too - I often find work easier when I've run in the morning.
Well done! I'm at the same stage as you. I found wk4 R3 really hard today, the hardest so far. Normally I'm looking forward to the run but I wasn't today. I think the negative attitude has made it harder! Saying that I pushed myself more today, slightly quicker than waddling duck speed today! I'm having 2 rest days as well before starting week 5 - 20 mins running?!?!?! Roll on Saturday...
Try not to worry about longer running times Percyp73 - just go slow and steady and in the next 2 months tops you'll be running for 30 minutes at a time. 1000s of people have progressed as you are and you're more than capable 👍 I look forward to seeing how you find W5 runs, you should certainly get a rewarding feeling from longer runs.
I have to admit i was looking forward (in an odd way!) to this one so i was quite surprised when I found myself running on empty today. It's not my lungs or breathing......i could go all day on those....it's my legs. They felt so tired and heavy today 🤷♀️ I hope that a couple of days rest will help. Im also planning to have two days off before run 3 to give myself a really good chance!
