After graduating last Thursday and completing a park run on Saturday I have had painful twinges on the outside of my left knee. Got up to do the treadmill this morning and after 5 minutes jogging the pain in my knee was so annoying that I had to walk for the rest of the time. I was actually walking at the same speed that I jog, so was I getting the same benefits? Feel so disappointed in myself. Felt so good last week, will give it another go on Wednesday π

You won't lose your fitness by giving your knee a few days off. Even Olympic athletes get injured. Listen to your body. A short rest and you'll be back on it!

Two weeks at least before we do lose fitness, Keep that knee moving and try these..many of us find them useful

When that knee is fully recovered... then start to gently get in a couple of week's consolidation ... shorter runs, longer runs, 30 minute runs etc... new routes too...
