Afternoon interval run with Laura!

That was a first running at lunchtime when I’m normally out with the dawn chorus. So, nervous as I’d eaten breakfast and elevensies coffee so how would I cope at 1:15? Answer totally fine except I will keep going blind on these stepping stone podcasts and didn’t realise the interval one was not 30 mins so when Laura said cool down I was a good 12 mins from home so carried on running at the slower pace for another 7 mins. Mistake really as then for first time since W1 run1 I felt a little stitch coming on so I slowed to a walk and poodled back home . Chuffed I could do the intervals though and will definitely mix up a shorter interval workout with a standard 30 min run etc . Blimey starting to sound like a blinkin’ runner - how’d that happen!😱 That’s 6 consolidations in the bag 🤗🏃‍♀️

Many of us use the C25K +podcasts in with other runs..E.g I use Speed in the middle of a long run..

Well done you.

Great job... done the intervals and enough left to jog home. Happy running.

Thanks! There was still a walk home involved as I was right of course for home but yes was pleased I’d still got fuel in tank and legs!
