Despite superhuman levels of faffage getting ready, and the fact it was raining, went out and only went and did it. Go me...

Was feeling good and as I've been running 35mins instead of 30, pushed on and did the 5k in 39:21. I know we keep saying its the time and not the distance, but just this once it was kind of special...

So, that's that. Rest tomorrow and then the consolidation begins...

Thanks. For me the aim is to carry on 2-3 40min runs a week until the new rugby season starts in September. Hopefully for once, I won't face the first match with a sense of dread.

My aim was always to get to 40 and tweaked the last couple of weeks to help me get there. Hopefully, when the new season starts in September, I won't face first match with legs of lead

You certainly won’t... but you’re not allowed to make them play 2 60 minute halves just to get your running in either 😂
