Well finally did it ๐Ÿ˜ canโ€™t quite believe it , took longer than 9 weeks and canโ€™t do 5k in 30 minutes but Iโ€™m blooming running ๐Ÿคฃ couldnโ€™t have done it without all the inspiring posts on here that keep you going when you think you canโ€™t , so thank you all .

Iโ€™m now going to go what I should have done a few weeks ago! Iโ€™m going to repeat week 7 runs for s while till I feel comfortable doing them and to make sure I run three times a week . Yes I can now run for 30 minutes but itโ€™s been a struggle the last few weeks and needed a lot more rest days. I started this with not a great level of fitness so feel I need more time to build my stamina up before pushing on to go faster or longer but will definitely keep running ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ So let the celebrations begin ๐Ÿ˜

Youโ€™ve done it! Well done! Be proud of yourself. Itโ€™s not about running 5K itโ€™s about running for 30mins. If Yourโ€™re doing that Uโ€™re fine! Just stick with that for as long as you need. No need to push on until u feel ready! Congratulationsยฃ

Brilliant!!! Many congratulations - such a great achievement! And absolutely fine to consolidate with slightly shorter run, and build up again. Keep it nice and slow!

Me too, I thought the goal was to finish and get to 30 minutes but in reality itโ€™s just to keep running and enjoy it ๐Ÿ˜ and be injury free

Very well done. The people that can run 5k in 30 minutes by graduation are in the minority so donโ€™t worry about that, my best average is 8.11 per K but itโ€™s improving, we are all different!
