It felt like a post apocalypse world at 7am when a power cut struck so what better to do than go out for a W9R2 by the harbour - church bells ringing - a stiff breeze bringing in the smell of salt and sea weed. A shame through that Laura's podcast drowned out the crashing of waves from a wild sea. Not even a blister could stop me today. The lesson I reckon is to attend any ruck in my sock before setting off AND to have a plaster to hand OR preferably have an entire support team of a dozen or so like the Tour de France cyclists - wouldn't that be something? Right now it's 11:10 and the power is still off so I'd settle for a cup of tea rather than the support team

Oh the power it’s, always going off here, we have gas as well as electric, always got a good supply of candles in, very romantic!
The wind has dropped here in Northern Cyprus so quite warm. That’s a good tip about the socks, on Saturday morning just before I launched myself onto an unsuspecting public I felt a stone in my shoe. How do they get in there?
Good luck for your Wednesday graduation and hope your electric is back on !
Thanks for your good wishes. Power out 7am to 1:15pm over a massive area for planned work. There are rumoured to be ways that the Elec Board announce these things but I think they are as credible as the legendary Oracle at Delphi high on subterranean gases, drugs or both. Have a great week and a fantastic Friday.
