Hi. I’m absolutely loving this challenge. I’m now on week 7 run 3. I run on the treadmill on 8.0 and I can manage that. But someone told me it’s not fast enough. What is the correct speed?
Thank you x

Whoever told you that '8' is not fast enough has absolutely no clue. Ignore everything else that they tell you, too.
This is your program, it is your body and your chance to get running for 30 minutes. There is no such thing as too slow. Once you can run for 30 minutes comfortably (after a period of consolidation after graduating C25K), we can help you work on speed, time or distance if that is what you want. Until then, run at a comfortable pace for you.
And well done on the 25 minute runs
Great job... everything @MarkyD said! Speed is for in a couple of months time.
I run at 4.5 on the treadmill! As MarkyD says, the ‘correct speed’ is whatever feels comfortable for you. Slow and steady is better than going too fast and not being able to complete the run or getting injured.
Hi
Well done on getting to week 7!! I’ve just run R1W5 this morning. I run at 8km on a treadmill as well and find this hard enough !! I’m absolutely exhausted by the end of it but somehow manage to get through it ! Got the 8 minute runs starting next time 😩 - I was thinking of slowing to 7.5k - definitely not increasing it !!
As MarkyD says..your run..your pace..just run and enjoy...😊
By ‘correct’ they probably mean the pace to run 5k in 30 minutes. Which means they re good at maths but know nothing about running. If you enjoy running at that pace and can complete the runs then it’s not an incorrect pace.
