Completely unimportant....at this stage...You run.. for enjoyment and you run at the right comfortable pace for you :)

I will totally disagree with my esteemed colleague, Oldfloss and say, yes, it is very important that you run at a pace at which you can speak clear ungasping sentences as you run, as explained in the guide to the plan healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

If you are slow, that is fine.

Enjoy your journey.

Slow is joyful Pancakes. Speed can come later if you want it to. Your goal is to complete the programme at your happy pace, regardless how far you run.

Enjoy it! When you graduate you can start playing with speed - or not! Up to you! 😀👍

After I graduated I actually found a slower speed. Suddenly everything got easier.

I’m with IannodaTruffe, it’s crucial to keep the speed down to become a stronger and healthier runner.

I’m slower than a snail....I actually got excited this morning when I realised I’d run 3.1km in 30 mins. I had a blip last week when I felt inadequate and slow. Everyone on here made me realise 9 weeks ago I couldn’t run the 0.1 km 😂😂. Keep it slow and steady. 😊🏃‍♀️😊🏃‍♂️
