I have returned yet again. I have started this 3 or 4 times over the years (even completed it once) then something gets in the way (well that’s the excuse I’m using 😳) and I lapse.
Anyway years have passed and I am getting older so having one last crack at it as I would like to do a couple of races.
Now on beginning of week 3 so far so good🤞🙏.
Anyone else on here starting this in their 60’s?
Good luck to all xx

Welcome back suebuzz. I started in September on my 62nd b'day and graduated in January. Done a few parkruns since and loving it. I'm on an unscheduled injury break at the moment. Can't wait to get out running again. I know you didn't ask for advice but I'd say just keep it nice and slow and steady however great your feeling. You'll graduate on no time!!
Thanks Stevie..I feel so cross when I think I graduated and didn’t carry on 4 years ago. I could have done a marathon by now 🤣🤣🤣
I am taking it slow and steady. Just interested in putting in the time rather than distance at the moment. I’ll be 63 in August and apart from race for life have not done a proper race/run. Thanks for your support. X
I'll be 70 in December - back running outside three times a week after being on treadmill over the winter. Never going to be the fastest and not interested in running more than 30 minutes but it's better than sitting on the couch !!
