Running after a night shift

So last night was my first night shift of this week. After my shift I went and Run 1 of Week 3. I wasn’t sure if I should but I had kept myself hydrated through the night. I did feel tired after the shift but I ran. The mist was on the rise and there was just me and some birds on the running track. Glastonbury Tor was in the background.

I kept my pace to a light jog: nice, steady and slow. My legs did feel tired but I made them run. A quick shower and then I am off to bed. 🏃‍♀️

Boy, did I sleep well. I let both of my cats out for the day and slept right through.

The run was lovely and the dew was still on the grass.

A huge well done on getting out there after a night shift. It sounds like you had the world to yourself for your run. Sleep tight!
