Sense of sadness

So I’ve just done my W9R1 and have a certain blue feeling that my C25K journey is coming to an end. I know it’s just the beginning of my new fitness regime but I am going to Miss Jo’s dulcet tones cutting through my tunes.

Great run today, did an extra 2 minutes just to see if I could! So happy 😀

I know exactly what you mean, it's hard to imagine running life without the structure and support... but it's gonna be OK. There are new adventures waiting for you on the other side! 👍😉

You could always keep jo in your ear for a few weeks for your consolidation runs it's up to you 😊

That’s what I did - and changed the coaches for a bit of variation!

Yes I had that feeling too. Bit like a good book - you want to reach the conclusion but it’s so good you want it to keep going! I kept running with Laura (w9r3) for a while. Then onto Juju’s magic 10 plan. Happy running days.

Thank you. I’ve heard about Juju’s plan. The other recommendation I’ve seen is the NikeRun app. I’m sure it’ll be exciting trying them out. 😁

Indeed. It is quite an emotional thing though, this plan. We are all investing in ourselves and I don’t think we really appreciate that when we start out.

Couldn’t do it without the amazing support here either. You’re all part of the magic. Thank you.

I have my own theories about raised heart rate heightening both sensory and emotional receptors...........it is called being alive.

You’ve got the best in C25K, time for you to stay close, teach and cheer us, those coming up the same path. Well done!

Always happy to cheer. 🎉 This forum is such a great support as we go through the plan.
