Grandsprocket really seemed to enjoy his first time at Junior Parkrun, though running past the playground (twice) was almost too much for him - he’s only 4 - even though I took him in there for a quick slide down the slide before we headed over to the start. He ran the whole way, and soon got the hang of high fiving the marshals for a ‘power up’ 😀 and he was good at thanking them as well 🥰

He certainly enjoyed it enough to say he wanted to do it again next week - though that might just have been the hot chocolate and muffin talking. 😆

He saw the ice cream van as we left, so I said next week he can have an ice cream instead 👍
