W1R3 completed much to my surprise! I didn’t think I would manage a run at all today as my sore back was bothering me last night but I did it.

I set my alarm for six again then thought better of it when I had to get up and let cats out at five 😾 so I changed it to seven and thought I’d run over the weekend instead. Lo and behold I then woke up at half six with a spring in my step and off I went 🏃‍♀️

I ran on the treadmill at work today as we had a lot of rain yday so I thought the park would be bogging. It was quite an experience! I liked the even ground, the heart rate check and the privacy but could have done without the full length mirror and overhead lights! Those suckers get HOT 🥵

Anyways that’s week one done and I’m super proud. Never thought I’d do it and now I can’t wait to carry on. In the meantime I’ve got two days off and a date with the lovely Take That tonight. Manchester here I come 🎤 🎶 😍

Back pain may be the result of relatively poor core strength. Runners need good strong cores, so planks and bridges will help.
