Just been out and finished run 1 of week 4! Can’t believe I have ran more than I walked. Feeling really happy and feel as though my pace was a lot better and consistent which meant I could keep it up well throughout the intervals. I was slower than previous weeks but it was much more enjoyable and I can build on speed once I have finished the programme. All of your feedback and comments on here are so motivating and helpful so thank you all.
Happy Running and hope you all have a lovely weekend ahead! Next run for me is on Sunday.

Brilliant & welcome to the slow runners club!! Many of us have to run slowly to make it, but then lots of us fall in love with the art of slow running (Japanese slow jogging technique!) and this is what really helps us to complete c25k. You can stick to slow if that suits you and add duration to one run per week, or you can work on pace when you’re ready. Brilliant run - well done!!
Thank you so so much! Love that Japanese running video and having a slower pace I think is so helpful for beginners trying to increase their stamina like me. Really appreciate your support on this forum thank you so much ❤️
Well done you! I am at the same stage as you and have just completed run 1 of week 4. I was worried beforehand about running full 5 minutes, but feel so proud having completed it! My next run is on Sunday. Good luck with your next one.
