Finally, finally graduated today, should’ve been yesterday but woke up feeling a bit yuk so postponed it to today although still felt under the weather today
Sun was shining a little, a nice 18 degrees and at Center Parcs in the lakes so a perfect although somewhat rather hilly course for my final couch to 5k run. I really underestimated how hilly and how energy sapping it is to run up these hills especially when you’re not feeling too great but managed the full final 30mins with just over a 5k distance. When Sanjay said that’s it, my legs nearly gave way and i was so thankful as my breathing was all over but that’s it, done & dusted, finished. Onto more K’s for the great north run. God knows how I’ll do 21k as 5 is tough!
Good luck to all fellow runners, does it get easier? Afraid not but I’ll be cheering you all on. My one bit of advice... don’t give up, no matter how hard it is or those voices in your head saying stop. Ignore them and you’ll feel so much better for it.
It’s been a life changing experience, cannot recommend the program enough

Center Parcs hills! Longleat hurts on a bike, I’ve got to go back and run there... maybe I’ll train for that at Sherwood or Whinfell!
Congratulations! What a great place to be graduating too... no traffic... red squirrels... lovely pines. Celebrate well, enjoy consolidation and all your future running adventures
