First time out on the road!

I’ve managed to reach W5 R2 today but I’ve been running for the programme so far on an unmade very uneven track, it’s stony and very muddy! This being due to not wanting to be seen out on the road! Due to heavy rain there is no way I can run down the track for my next run on Friday and am so apprehensive about going out on the road. Am I likely to find it more difficult?

Road running may feel different but you will get used to it the more you do it. Why wouldn't you want to be seen , before I started c25k I had lots of admiration for people running be proud and go 😊😊

If anything I’d say it could feel easier. C25K isn’t about pace and I’ve been graduated a while... most of my running is on trails, but when I go onto tarmac I go quicker with no extra effort, so then I can slow down and smile. I’d say it’s time to be seen... be proud, you may well inspire someone else. Have a wonderful run.
