Wow! What an amazing feeling this is! (Lol! Sorry if I sound like Iβm making an Oscars Speech!) Iβm feeling so proud of myself. π I was NO runner but now I think I may be one and have totally caught the bug!
The Stats:
1. Today I ran just over 4KM in 30 mins (my fastest run yet)
2. Iβve gone from 90KG to 84KG
3. Im now wearing size 14 (down from 16)
4. Total confidence booster and loving people saying βoh Maria have you been dietingβ and I say NO...IVE BEEN RUNNING!! π
5. I CAN RUN A 5K!!! (Have done 3 so far in Park Runs - which are amazing!)
Now, seriously...for any doubters/thinking about giving uppers/strugglers/questioners in the words of dear old NIKE... JUST DO IT!!! Also YOU CAN DO IT!
Thank you so much to all the C25K people who answer questions, encourage, support and build up! This is a great community! Thank you Laura...Iβm not sure I can run without you now!!!
That was a great speech futurefit, you deserve to be very proud of yourself π π
Onwards and upwards, congratulations on completing C25K with week 9 run 3 and graduating π π π
To get your graduation badge and the word GRADUATE π next to your username leave a message on the April graduate post in the pinned posts on the right side of the healthunlocked C25K home page and tell the administrators that you have ran W9R3 of C25K and graduated π π π
Your post really inspired me so thank you. Many congratulations on your huge achievement. I am just beginning and my motivation is to get fit. However at 55 years old and at least 2 stone overweight I am hoping weight loss will be a side effect π
Hi Pandprunner! Thanks for your lovely message! Well done on starting your C25K journey! Stick with it and you wonβt regret it! I definitely feel healthier, slimmer, happier! So itβs a win win!!! All the best with it and keep posting and asking questions on here...thatβs been a huge support and help to me!! πββοΈππ₯³ππ
Congratulations! And great post... already in the replies you can see that you are now somebody elseβs encouragement and support. Celebrate well... enjoy consolidation and all your future running adventures.
As youβre quoting Nike... βThere are no finish linesβ is another of their slogans.
Thank you so much and I love that slogan!!! I was so encouraged by people on here and so hope I can offer just a little bit of that back. Itβs hard to explain but I feel like Iβve been given a new lease of life and am so much happier in myself. Never thought something like running could do that but clearly it can and has. Now I will have a few weeks of consolidation runs and then maybe try Bridge to 10K...Iβve so got the bug! ππππ
It is hard to explain... but itβs easy to understand, we all get it when this is done.
B210k is a great place (that I donβt get to post on as much as Iβd like) and the plan there is... quite frankly... genius, so much better than others Iβve seen. Youβll love it.
