Graduated!!

Completed R3W9 today & it feels great. Managed to incorporate 2 Park Runs into the programme in weeks 8 & 9 as well. What a great App - really helped with motivation & routine. Now to consolidate, work on that Park Run PB & think about longer runs.

Congratulations! Especially well done getting some of that parkrun love in, it really is a magical thing. Celebrate this well... enjoy that consolidation, and that parkrun PB and running longer are closely related... some slow long runs will set you up nicely. You’ll have many future running adventures and we can’t wait to hear about them.

Thanks. Yes you can but my advice would be to stick to the plan i.e do the 5 min walk at the start. Then the run - if you are close to the finish at the end of the run section you could carry on & jog over the line. If not incorporate the 5 min warm down walk as well & that should get you close to finishing. Loads of people walk some or all of PR so don’t worry about walking. It’s very friendly & welcoming, so go for it!

I did a park run week 9 and did it too fast for me. Add it in ! But remember run at your own pace or walk ..4 park runs in I am waking a bit now many do ..to concentrate on getting fitter
