One of the most amazing moments of my life was when I first ran 5000 metres without collapsing on the floor and dying...

What I have taken from this amazing thing we are all doing 2 years later is clarity....

Focus and clarity....my head is never in the best of places but once I tie those shoes up and hit the road....now that's life...the feel of the shoe pounding the tarmac....the squeal of the first time park runners when they get their new booties dirty...

Two years ago I started this silly running thing and I wish I had started it earlier. It gives you focus and it builds your mental stamina. I am not the same person I was two years ago. I may be a bit slimmer, I may be a bit fitter but I am f**king determined. Its changed my life.

Good luck you c2k5'rs see you on the 10k and half marathon starting line😜
