Graduation: 2 days before my half-century!

I am so pleased to announce I have completed my Couch 2 5K 'course' and today run my third run of Week 9!

In fact I even did an extra minute to get to .... wait for it.... drum roll... 3 km! So, no where near 5k, BUT it took nearly 5 minutes off my accidental 36 minute 3km run in week 8!

So, I did find Week 9 hard, and will have to battle gremlins to continue in my newly discovered good habit, but hope to keep in touch with you lovely folk on this fab-forum and.... keep on running!

All the best

Congratulations to you primaballerina on completing C25K with week 9 run 3 and graduating, well done.

To get your graduation badge and the word GRADUATE 🎓 next to your username leave a message on the April graduate post in the pinned posts on the right side of the healthunlocked C25K home page and tell the administrators that you have ran W9R3 of C25K and graduated 🎓 🏃 😊, you beat the gremlins, that is an achievement in itself. 😊

Congratulations! And wow! 5 minutes off your 3k PB is huge by any standards, more congratulations for that.

3x30 in a week is tough... but now you get to consolidate until it’s comfortable/easy... no more adding extra on every few runs.

Celebrate this well... enjoy consolidating and all your future running adventures.

Keep posting... keep running... keep improving... and most importantly keep being awesome.

Oh... and have a wonderful 50th.

Brilliant! Well done you and all the very best in your endeavours to keeeeep running 🏃‍♀️

First I must get comfortable with 30 mins.... then I’ll work on going faster!

Good plan. I've noticed I've benefitted an awful lot from about 5 weeks of consolidation at 30 mins. :)
