I did go for a walk up an unexplored route though - and I do mean up ! Steep railway lines they had in our part of the country. And I did a little jog, just to prove I still can.
In this heat ? You’re joking !: I did go for a... - Couch to 5K

I’m getting to quite like a hill... but those shallower long relentless inclines... no thanks! Well done having a little run (yes, run) on it.

Lovely photo BCK, no more trains near to where you live, yes, old steam trains used to 'chug chug' up steep hills like that.
I hope you are enjoying the good weather and are having a good Easter. Nice to know that you are still running to prove that you can. I am today rerunning one of the weeks of C25K, a few more shorter runs then I'll rerun run 3 of week 5. 🏃 😊
PS. Update 10.20am
I have just completed a rerun of run 3 of week 3 along part of the ButtercupKid 5K trail. After I ran that, I had a 3 minute walk, stopped the C25K app, put on Mapmyrun and run for 1Kilometre at a pace of 7.26Km, this in preparation for me rerunning the longer runs starting with run 3 of week 5. 🏃 😊
You’re doing great, AlMorr 🏅
I notice that the temperature is 16C in Aberdeen and 23C in Glasgow, nice and sunny in both places, I am out in the garden under a sun shade just relaxing and feeling a bit nervous about starting again with a rerun of of week 5 on Wednesday or Thursday, ha, I'll take all those runs slowly, should be OK..... I hope. 😊

We're not built for heat! I haven't been out much lately due to injury but yesterday I was feeling in dire need of the stress-busting a run brings so I decided to go for it and just do a gentle jog for as much of the 30 minutes as I felt like. I was so chuffed to manage nearly all of it, with just a few short walks at times - on the uphills! I waited until 7pm last night though in the hopes that it would be cooler - and I was in the forest and was very glad of the shade. Though it was still really warm when I was in full sunshine. Even the breeze was warm!
That does look like a nice route you've found - for the cooler weather.

A lovely exploration on a glorious day in beautiful scenery, makes running malarkey even more worth while.
