I am absolutely gutted that I'm not going to be able to run for a while. Torn ligament. I would never have thought that I'd be able to run for 30 seconds never mind my next run would have been a full 5 mins (gulp). It amazes me how quickly I got addicted to it. Oh well I guess it's rest and physiotherapy for a while then I'll be back on here. I'll be doing some sit down workouts in the meantime.

Oh no! What a shame. But missing it is good. Just ease yourself back into it when you have recovered. Soon enough, five minutes will be easy- peasy!

Patience is not my strong point
Think of it as "patience training" in that case. π it worked for me πͺπ
Check out Caroline Jordan's hurt foot programme on you tube. Lots of seated and non weight bearing workouts. She'll drive you nuts with her positivity but she's actually fab and a big help when you're really struggling
Gutted for you... but your attitude is spot on... heal well and keep that fitness as high as you can
