I’ve just done w8r1 and I got to 25 minutes and stopped. I was so hot as the weather’s glorious today but I was boiling hot and gave up with 3 minutes left. Needless to say I’m disappointed and worried I might start stopping more often (I’ve never stopped before). Has anyone else done this and how did they cope with it? Please help!!! 😩

Make sure you're drinking even more water when it's warm and if possible run when it's cooler don't worry you still ran a whole 25 minutes you can do this 😊😊
I stoppéd on w8r1 too....my body told my brain that I couldnt do it....beat myself up bigtime afterwards....but dont worry, because before my w8r2 I gave myself a good hard talking to and I have come back stronger than before and completed w8 runs with no more thoughts of stopping....it isnt worth stopping from the hard time I gave myself. I havent stoppéd before. I had been ill the previous week and didnt take time off from running, which I think I would have benefited from....so my body just said...enough.
Dont be so hard on yourself...à few runs on and it will be a distant memory if that...especially when you get your shiny badge.
Brilliant - thank you! That’s just what I needed to hear (someone who’s done exactly the same). I almost think I stopped just to rebel a bit as well. It has made me more determined to take the whole prep thing more seriously too, and I have a choice to either keep stopping or push on through. I know which one I’m gonna do! Thank you so much xx
Well good luck on week 9! It’s such a fantastic programme and I’ve loved it up to now. Happy Easter to you too and thank you for your advice - it makes such a difference being on this forum and sharing experiences. Good luck for your graduation week 😊
