Egym - any experience?

Hi

I'm looking into a 6 week training program that a local gym has. (Cheap to get you through the door) but they use egym equipment. I've googled it but am wondering if anyone has experience of using said equipment?

Thanks

Egym looks like special equipment that is used in a gym, Google :egym: then press or tap images, that shows what Egym equipment looks like, I wonder how many people have actually used it, it looks very new.

Thanks I have read everything I can find on line. As with all things, when in doubt Google 😁 I'm just hoping someone has used it in real life and can share their thoughts x

Just read a German site about this... I kinda get the marketing. I’m not so sure that my phone is on it enough to know how many reps and what weight to use though. Maybe I’m old school (or just old) but I’m more into starting small and building comfortably. Maybe this is the fitness revolution we all need... time will tell. My worry would be where to start... once a device has results it can certainly help to adapt workouts to previous results. I’d never heard of this before, it certainly has my interest, and I’d also love to hear if anyone has tried it, so I’ll follow this thread with interest.

The concept certainly looks interesting.

From the brief chat with gym owner you do a strength test on each machine which determines number of reps and weight based on your goals. Then follow a program for x time, then it does another strength test. I'll know more next week.
