Hi

I’ve completed the 5k app and have moved on to the 10k.

I have completed this on the treadmill but have ventured outside only a few times. Last week I ran non-stop on the treadmill for 50 mins completing 4 miles, whereas today I decided it was time to go outside. I only managed just over a mile (12 mins) and even an early part of that I stopped to walk!

I want to get outside more - so I think I shall use to 5k app again. Not sure which week though?

I would maybe start week 3 or 4, it is very different outside and you want to start with some intervals to get the brain into the right frame of mind for outside. Good luck. Rfc x

I was in the same situation as yourself . Running on the treadmill during the winter no problem then really struggled with my first run outside . I went back to W3 on C25k and now on my last run of W5 this weekend and I'm glad I did. Rfc is spot on about getting the brain into the right frame of mind

Thank you..going to start W3 today, also signed up for a 30 day challenge - 15min a day exercise! So do the run, be warmed up for whatever the video has in store for my ageing body lol

That's great you have a plan in mind - as long as we're off the couch doing what we can our age is irrelevant lol.
