.. when I'm fit / well enough where start from?

Haven't been out running in a week; (sadly virus / illness is preventing me!). Feeling so frustrated.. ( typically I'm ill on a week when i'm off work on hols and all my days are free ) when I'm fit / well enough feeling up to running again where start from? Suggestions...

Generally it’s reckoned you can lose two weeks without loss of fitness, so if you’re going out in the next few days you can start where you left off - just be kind to yourself and take it slow and steady: if it hurts, slow down a bit more. Personally I do a sneaky 1:1 if I have to miss more than a week, to break myself in gently and give myself some idea of where I’m at. Hope you’re back out there very soon x
