I revisited W6R2 run today taking into consideration all the helpful comments given by you on my 1st post.

1 - Had a few days rest

2 - Massaged my calfs (used arnica gel)

3 - Used my normal running shoes

4 - Slowed down and reduced the length of my stride (Snail to super snail ;-) )

The exercise went really well and I was so relieved to go past the point where my right calf stiffened up on Monday. In fact I completed both 10 minute runs with a smile on my face although I was knackered. As usual I finished with a long walk.

Thanks again for your feedback and encouragement otherwise I may have given up.

To boot I also had a weigh in and BP check this morning and have lost 2 Stone and BP has steadily gone down over the 7/8 weeks. :-)
