Went to the Doctor this morning (not running related) but mentioned to her I’d taken up running and had graduated from c25k. She’s also doing it but finding W5 hard going - so she got the Japanese Slow Jogging tip. No one is spared! 🤣🤣

😂😂😂

You made me laugh out loud!

I saw myself as I passed a shop window this morning and thought I am glad I heard about JSR as the old dear I saw in the was doing it rather well.

If I had not heard about it I might have just thought I was still shuffling.

How about starting a national JSR club folks? I could start the North Yorkshire Chapter 👣

I saw some young women doing it the other day, they looked lovely & sprightly, so in my mind I’m pretending I look like them & not the bonkers smiling lady of a certain age!

Ha ha ! So funny ! We should start our own JSJ club! I went to doc today too and asked her to weigh me (I didn’t want to know what it was) but she said alot less than I thought ! Happy Days ! Still don’t want to know though 😂

That’s excellent and she’ll definitely appreciate it.

Brilliant!!

I'm loving my 'slow shuffle' as I call the JSRT.

I'll open the South Downs branch of the club 🏃‍♀️😉

Please stop! :)

You have no mercy!!!!!

Let's hope the days of GPs discouraging runners on account of the impact are long gone.......get them on our side.

Mine is big into mental health and advocates any and all forms of exercise for sanity's sake. He was quick to tell me my priority had to be regular running! 👍🤣

I think the majority doctors are on board, but there are still a few dinosaurs.
