Hi running buddies

Completed this run a day later than planned due to having a poorly weekend....and no, not self inflicted...haven't touched a drop in weeks! Haven't touched much food either this weekend.

I decided to be kind to myself and stay home and see how I felt with this run on the dreadmill. It was ok after the usual settling down period. Having run outside for 6 weeks now though, I had to readjust to the dreadmill (with an incline) That way, if I didn't feel well, I was home and could stop.

Felt a little weak, probably due to lack of food...still only fancying fruit and soup...hopefully tomorrow I will be back to normal Jan.

Thursday's run is back to outside and the hubby is coming with me...not sure how that will work yet...but told him to be kind...I am not training for a marathon like he has done.

Happy enjoyable running all.

Well done getting back to it. It’s not easy ploughing through poorly feeling and the distraction that brings with it. I’m sure you’ve thought about the obvious- have you eaten/drunk enough of the right stuff? Take it easy and take care. Hopefully you’ll feel better soon.

Thank you, your very kind. Haven't eaten much...lost my appetite completely...forcing down what I can....I am well hydrated though...I can't take on enough fluids.

Sorry to hear that you have not been well recently but are now recovering enough to have completed run 1 of week 7 on the dreadmill at home, I am sure the treadmill is not all that dreadful.

Just make sure run 2 of week 7 that you are running outside with your husband on Thursday is slow and steady, yes, tell him to run at your pace, not his.

Aww thank you...yes! I will make sure. If he wants to go off then he can...I will be doing my pace. He hasn't run for a while, so may not be too much of a problem.
