I like walking, gym classes, sports, ... but never went into running ...
last month I decided to joined a 5K fun race... but then I realised that it won’t be that much fun if I cannot run even a bit so I started today with the first session. 1st minute was the worse 🤦🏼♀️. I thought I had to give up the 30 minutes but... I completed it!!

Welcome to the forum 'I_can', yes your username will be very useful soon, I can run, many people find the first run and week the most difficult, just take all the runs slowly and you will find them becoming a little easier as you progress through the course.
I'm like you. I walk, cycle, play sports but had never run until starting the programme. Some weeks were incredibly difficult and frustrating - "I'm reasonably fit, why is this so hard?". Anyway, bloody mindedness won out and since graduating I have tried to maintain 5km 3x a week. Some are less uncomfortable than others but I'm still waiting for the runners high I've heard about. I still don't consider myself a runner but my overall fitness has definitely improved so I am enjoying my other sports more and that is my ongoing motivation. Your motivation is completing a fun run not just running for its own sake so you will succeed. Good luck.
