Well I was expecting it to be harder and I was right but not too hard that I couldn’t finish it. I kept telling myself “I’m running in New York! How cool is this” and that seemed to distract myself. It was a much slower run than usual, my splits were almost a minute slower but I was concentrating more on completing the run rather than trying to hit a PB.
Feels good to almost be at a stage where I can call myself a runner
