Weekend off

Having completed week 1 I now have the weekend off because it fits in with my week to run Mon, Weds, Fri. I am wondering whether that is a disadvantage? Will I want to start again on Monday? Hoping I still feel motivated 🏃‍♀️

Won’t be a problem! You’ve done the hardest bit by getting out the door for all of W1. 👏🏼 I did the whole program on a M-W-F schedule and it worked really well for me. You don’t have to be a slug all weekend, but it’s good for your legs to have the double days off from the impact of running. They’ll be ready to go on Monday. 🎉

I’m running the same schedule as you and also just finished week one. I’m looking forward to the rest but as R3 was better than R1 or R2, despite a muscle niggle, I’m sure I’ll be ready to go again on Monday.

I prefer this model and actually take two days off at least but that’s cus I’m a bit of a croc and left leg likes longer to rest. About to start week 8. Good luck however you do it!
