Week 4 Run 1 - Epic fail!

I was really looking forward to the first run of week 4 today but it was a disaster! Managed the first 3 min run no problem but got cramp in my right calf half way through the first 5 min run and that was it. I tried walking it off, rubbing my calf and attempting to run again but couldn’t. I walked the remaining 25 mins. I am going to have another rest day tomorrow and try again on Monday. Feeling deflated! 😥

No f words please.. these things happen and you di right to stop the run... it is all too easy to cause a real problem.

Hopefully you had warmed up well... and it was just a one off. Some rolling and massage and some simple calf exercises may help.
