As a 61 year old gran who has never run before I never thoughtI would be able to run for 30 minutes nonstop but I finally managed to complete the program on 1st April. So happy - and amazed!
I started C25K in October but had a few breaks due to holidays, illness, injury due to bad shoes and then refusal to run until Iβd replaced the offending trainers. I did the entire program on the treadmill so feel a bit of a fraud, but it meant that my husband was also encouraged to go to the gym with me too.
The program really does work π and the support given by this forum is just amazing. Thanks to everyone for all the advice and encouragement πππππ

I am 2years younger than you and a granma , I have just completed week 1 , On a treadmill , I have said I will go for a run outside maybe π not pretty π
Congratulations, you are an inspiration!! I find running on a treadmill harder than road running - so completing the programme on a treadmill in my eyes makes you a winner. Glad you could convince your husband to join you. It is time to celebrate now
Congratulations on completing C25K with week 9 run 3 on the treadmill, dreadmill, you are not a fraud on completing the course on a treadmill, well done.
Well done you π₯βοΈβοΈβοΈ ! Thereβs no cheating involved in running on a treadmill: you may even out the variations but you have to contend with the boredom, so itβs swings and roundabouts really. Be proud of you, and enjoy whatever comes next x
