So is it really possible to step up like this? Did w5r1 this morning but a little intimidated by 2 and 3. Any tips?

Hey! I’ve just completed W5R1 today too. I get your worry for our next two runs, but confident we can do this! When I started at W1 didn’t think I’d make it to W2, but have stuck with it and now have confidence in the programme. Keep going! 😁

Trust in the plan, believe in yourself and go slooooow. A lot of week 5 is in your head....it looks far more daunting than it really is..... and the high you will get when you complete it will put the biggest smile on your face. I actually found doing jogs with no walking breaks easier cause you can get into stride and breathing rhythm and stay in them. Good luck 🍀🏃🏽‍♀️😊

I’m there too. We can do this. It’s the same running time just rearranged. So many others have done this, we can do it too. 👍

Agree with all of the above - take it slow and trust in the plan! I wasn’t convinced I’d be able to do it but run 3 of week 5 was probably my favourite run so far 🏃🏼‍♀️ Good luck!

Well for a start, W5r1 is 15 minutes of running and 16 minutes of walking.

W5r2 is 16 minutes of running and 15 minutes of walking. Where is the problem with that???

It's all in your head ;-)

I thought the very same , the advice I received was Trust in the plan , and you can do this......

and I did w5 r3, 5 min walk , 20 min run, 5 min walk this morning.

You can do it !!

Enjoy

My next shuffle is W5R2 and like you I’m alternating between being terrified and looking forward to it! But we got this far by cracking on and trusting the programme - it won’t let us down. So I’m sure we’ll be OK! See you on the other side of R2!

Trust in the plan! It’s got you this far successfully! 😜

Follow all the advice above. Take it slow. Believe in yourself and just slow more if you get short of breath - you can do this!!

Best of luck 👍🏻🏃🏽‍♀️

I actually enjoyed it 😀kept to the plan and took it slowly. I enjoyed the 20 minute run believe it or not! Have done runs 1 and 2 of week 6. I found run 1 tough but I had been warned about it by another user so don’t be surprised by it when you get there 😀I went back to feeling good again on run 2. Don’t get me wrong it’s still hard but being out and running is such a buzz for me 😀I’m mostly looking forward to the 25 minute run tomorrow! Good luck and believe in the plan 😀

Amazing!! Lots of positive comments on here are so helpful! I haven't looked at wk6 properly so I'll have to check out the fear! Good luck with the rest of your journey
