Okay it’s bad enough when a gazelle goes streaming past your puffing little body but this guy was a good ten years older than me and I’m an old girl! I would have high fived him if I could have caught him and when I turned the bend he’d gone!! I’m telling myself he hitched a lift or was just a mirage to make me feel better 😂

Lol! 😂 Sympathy- i’m married to a gazelle who will sometimes walk ( briskly thank goodness!!) beside me while I run, with a naughty twinkle in his eye! 😂

Slow running is good for us, snails rock!! 🐌 😃

I sympathise my husband is an amazing skier and I’m pants, he would ski backwards down a blue run so that he could ‘ski’ with me 😐

😂😂 How distracting!! I haven’t been skiing for a long time and never got past the learner stage... I decided that I would probably be a forever green slope skier and happily swoop & swoosh along gently rather than wrestle with unmanageable speed and terror!! 😂

Same here, I don’t bother anymore now, just run instead 😂

He had collapsed behind a hedge..panting!

Gazelles get eaten..snails don't!! Go you!!

😂 snails definitely get eaten. Gazelles must be tastier! 😂😂👍😎

There’s always people that run quicker. You’re doing great at your own pace. You’re a runner!!! Plus your times will naturally be slowly improving all the time.

I was a spectator at our local half marathon trail race last year, about 3 kilometers into the trail I was watching who would be the first 'gazelle' to get to that part of the course, OK the first man was around about 30 years of age running around 21 minutes 5K pace, but it was the man who followed him at around 23 minutes 5K pace, this 'gazelle' I would say was around mid sixties age, not sure what his finnish position was. As I have said before it always amazes me how fast runners at the opposite end of the age spectrum can run so fast, I. e. 9 year olds who can run a sub 25 minute 5K, I spoke to one of them last year at a 5K event and told him how fast he was, he just shrugged his shoulders and said thanks. 😊
