Me Again..... breathing heavily !!!!

Just had my first totally unscheduled hill ...big slope training 😩. As you’ve prob gathered I live on the side of a very long hill. My garden is about 100yds long and slopes down to a copse complete with stream at the bottom. My Other half is a Beekeeper and his shed for storing empty hives etc is at the bottom of the garden.....it’s also where I keep my lawn mower. So.... decided I really would have to tackle the 100yds of lawn today... either that or ask my local farmer for a couple of his sheep. Plods down to shed and opens door ..... met by very angry buzzing which I instantly recognised as A few very cross Wasps, which flew straight at me !!!! I kid you not Mr Bolt himself would have been eating my dust as I ran at full speed Up that big slope/hill to the safety of my kitchen. The wasps must have smelt the empty hives and decided it’s a good place to be. On the plus side 13 weeks ago I no doubt would have been stung cause no way could I have run back to the house. Thank you c25k 😊. Right i will now don my bees suit and evict the Wasps...., can’t be doing with Squatters. !!!

The Squatters are now living in the copse..... somewhere !!!! Other half instructed to sort the shed out and check for further Squatters. 😊🏃🏼‍♀️

I have always wanted to keep bees, my neighbour did when I was growing up. We always had various flower flavoured honey from him.🤤

Do it then 🐝 contact your local bee keeping society and attend their course. Bee warned they are addictive 🐝🐝🐝

I used to have bees. It was a family thing. My dad kept them and so did my grandfather. But 18 months ago I got divorced and had to move to a smaller house with a tiny garden 😥 My bees now live with my sister in South Wales.

Ohhhh I'm South Wales. Don't loose heart once a Beekeeper always a Beekeeper, one day you will be in a position to be owned by Bees again 🐝😊🏃🏽‍♀️
