I am on week 5 and found it suddenly got much harder I feel tempted to stay on this week until I build up more stamina. I'm 61 and workout every week but it's the first time I've tried jogging
Any advice?
Many thanks

When you complete a run move on but it's totally up to you 😊
Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started.
This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5... and you might find the link to the post about mental approach helpful.
Repeating is fine if that is what you want to do, but keeping up momentum is important too.
The run you have to beat is the next one, not the last one.
Enjoy your journey
Just take it as slowly as you need an don’t give in xx
Hi suegrace, it does feel harder but your earlier runs have prepared you for it. Take each run as it comes, stay hydrated and use your rest days. I’m 66 and have just ploughed on through - if I hit a wall I’ll repeat a run but if I complete it (even if it’s a struggle) then I move on to the next. So far so good and I did W5R3 this morning. Have faith in yourself and the plan- you can do this! Good luck and let us know how you get on.
