Week 5 and struggling!

More than struggling actually, as it is all mental. Body seems to be coping well. Apart from the fact that suddenly legs scream and swear at me and try to convince me to stop!

Run 2 Week 5 was a struggle and I am quite afraid ......of the third run. Have heard that there are big changes after week 5! I am hoping I will be able to do it. Not giving up yet!

I did Week 5 Run 3 today and it was nowhere near as tough as I had feared. Slow steady pace, believe you can do it!!!

Each run follows on from the next... just take it very slowly. If it is a struggle.. slow down even more..Just relax, trust the programme and have faith in yourself..

You can do this :) Anticipation...not apprehension :)

You're doing brilliantly.

Trust in the program, there's nothing to be scared of. Don't think about it just do what your coach tells you and keep going till they say stop.

Slow, slow and even slower is the way forward.

Good luck, you can do this!

"Slow, slow and even slower is the way forward." Such good advice. Thank you, wizziewood. And good luck, fight2fit. I am with you because I am at the same stage as you! Tell us how you get on.

There is a significant psychological element to the programme from now on. Your body is ready, now you need to get the mind in order.

Adopt a positive mental attitude to every run, negativeity just feeds the 'i cant do this' gremlins!

Be proud, be positive, you can do this 🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻😀
