Fed up knee pain

So I got to week 4 run 2 then on run three a week ago I started with pain In my right knee. I have rested up for a week and thought I would go again this morning I got through the warm up and 3 minute run and the pain has returned. So have hobbled back home, and am thoroughly fed up. What now?

I really wanted to nail this by my 50th in early May , and my fears are I'm not going to acheive this now.

Get yourself checked out by the doctor and see what they say 😊

These things take time.

I am in a similar situation at the moment and know from experience that I can run again when recovered and not before. You might try cycling to keep the joint mobile and improve blood flow, but that does depend on your particular issue.

If it persists consult your GP or physio.
