Well, after some umming and aahing ( I like to think I like running alone) , completed my first park run this morning. Not very fast, 36mins 57, but, I got round in one and that is the longest I’ve run . Previously, I had been struggling to do the 30 minute consolidation runs. Boy, did I enjoy it though. It definitely made it easier having people to follow and everyone was very supportive. Don’t know why I waited so long. I think it also gives me a goal now, which I had been lacking a bit since graduating so, all in all, a good experience.

Well done! And that time is definitely not slow, yes, I thought I had to run the whole 5k before I could go to parkrun, how wrong was I, I wish I had gone sooner, but no matter, I love parkrun, the community is great.
Here’s to many more! 🏃♀️🏃♂️

Me too today. It’s great isn’t it. I am so slow but everyone is lovely and it does give you the extra challenge to hit the 5k and run solidly.
