Yesterday I did w4r2, after doing r1 I was pretty confident I'd be ok, but this time was different, I found it really tough. But there were some different factors. I have a bit of a cough, it's warmer and I had the baby in the buggy.
So it was slow and difficult, but I don't really care about speed or distance at this time, for me it's about doing it, rather than not doing it!
Having said that it was nice to be out in the sunshine!

How lovely to run with your baby and dog! We are on the same week! Good luck👏👏👏
I agree with you on “ getting out and doing it”. Be fair to yourself, you’ve got a cough but you did it. I have had several stops and starts because of injuries basically because of over enthusiasm and poor technique and not listening to my body! One solid piece of advice from this forum was take it slow and steady, the other was to try the “ Japanese slow jog”. I have noticed a big difference in my stamina. Measuring the improvement was simple, walking up a steep hill that I used to have to make 6 stops to catch my breath. Now I can walk up , albeit slowly, without stopping. In saying that I have my knee strapped up at the moment and will have to complete this program in the gym. 💐
What's a Japanese slow jog? Repetition definitely helps with strength and stamina doesn't it? It's good to recognise where we have improved. I hope your knee is better soon x
Well done for getting out with baby and dog in tow! That sounds like a challenge in itself! Lovely surface you’ve found for running with the buggy. It will feel different running with the buggy as your form will be different: reduced/no arm swing and possibly an altered stride pattern. Just don’t try to directly compare it to running solo!
