Hi

Just wondering if anyone on here has done the Sedgefield Parkrun? How is it in terms of flat/inclines?

My friend is doing it on March 30th and I’m going along to support her. I’m not at that stage yet!

Hi Oldfloss and thank you for the link!

Tomorrow I will be doing W6R3, but on a treadmill - I had to give up outdoor running because of my asthma and a chest infection.

If I’m completely honest my biggest stumbling block is mental - because of the bad experience of doing it outdoors I get into an actual panic just thinking about it! Stupid I know. I’m sure going along to support my friend and experiencing the atmosphere of a Parkrun will really help.

I am planning on doing one in May (going away and the Easter school holidays will put my training back about three weeks). By this time she will have done a good few, so I won’t feel so bad about her hanging back and gee-ing me along 🙂
