Fantastic run this morning, having graduated on time rather than distance, I managed 4k this morning, a step closer to my 10k in June! About 15secs /km faster which wasn't in the plan, aiming for distance over pace really. Still applying warm up and cool down walks, although I shortened the out walk to 4mins this morning

Congratulations on running 4k! I am also running for time and am a terribly slow runner.. or rather a shuffler 😀 I hope I can get to your level some day in the future.
I'm sure you will, in January when I started c25k, I really didn't think I could or would do it, I just kept shuffling away with no real pace, but for me I'd decided before signing up to a 10k that longevity was what I wanted rather than pace. On my first run after graduating I was following a dog walker and didn't have the pace to get past them! I blame it on my short legs!

Good run for you today Gmt 74, your pace will get faster through time, just take all your runs slow and steady, I am glad that you found your run fantastic. well done.
