Urgh, this weather.

I should have started Week 9, on Monday evening, but my journey home was atrocious. And by the time I’d finished seeing to the dogs I was ready for bed myself.

The wind and rain conspired against me yesterday - though I probably burned as many calories walking the dogs in the wind as I would have if I’d been running on an ordinary day.

And child minding commitments, today, mean I can’t just head out now the sun has come out.

Tomorrow.

Tomorrow will be the day.

Don’t worry you won’t have lost any fitness and may even find the extra rest is good for you.

After getting lost on a trail event run at the weekend and covering 12.5k instead of 7k (not all running) at the weekend, you are very right 👍👍

Hmm, I’m also struggling to do W8R3 partly cos of the weather and partly other things conspiring against me. Really struggling with motivation at the moment

That’s always a bummer.

But you are SO close. Don’t give up now, you’ve done all the hard stuff; it’s genuinely all down hill from there.

What motivated you to start C25K in the first place?

It was partly about the need to get fitter and partly cos I needed a focus away from a redundancy situation at work. But I seem to have unwittingly added to my stress 🤔
