Either the Hill was Very Steep, or I Ran Very Slowly

It was the latter.

Intentionally the latter, as I do have a few niggles, due to a combination of Wednesday’s run and yesterday’s slide on some mud that saw me landing on my bum 🤦‍♀️

It was also uphill for the most part, but nothing too steep. I think I turned onto the flat/slight downhill just after the 20 minute mark. Luckily 5 minutes later I was being told to slow down to a walk just as I got to the worst holes in the path that I’d come across all morning.

I only recorded the run time, not the warm up or cool down walks (which I did do).

Good sensible running makes for a great run. Nice job. The downhills are overrated... it’s the uphills that make us fitter, stronger and faster.

Thanks.

Hills have to be good for something 😉

I have them every way I look... so I’m having to discover that they can be run! The top part of the trail always feels better when you can see over it or you’re due to turn round.
