This time, I meant it!

Around 6 month ago I posted on here about starting the C25K ‘tomorrow’ and got so much support from this great community. Well, tomorrow never came!

I have a passion for competitive sport and participate in powerlifting so training for this has always been my priority when it comes to exercising. However, I’ve recently made the move over to strongwoman, which involves an element of cardio and so here I am again! This time though, I’m not starting tomorrow - I have started!!

I’ve just completed W1 D2 and honestly, I enjoyed it! I’ve dragged a friend into it too and it helps that she’s as unfit as I am when it comes to running and we both have a holiday to shift a few pounds for too. So, wish me luck (again).

Also, any recommendations for apps to use to track miles/calorie count my run in the background would be appreciated.

The problem with tomorrow is it’s always a day away. Great job getting started. Running is tough in a different way to that which you are used to... but the same mental toughness you obviously have will serve you well in this.

Get to every start line and you, and your friend will be running 30 minutes pretty soon. Enjoy your journey.
