So I did it tonight and tbh it felt like just another run which I am pleased about because i want to keep doing this.
On the other hand I am really pleased as I feel so much better than I did when I started this after Christmas 😀
Who ever invented this is a genius. I went from struggling with one minute to running 37 tonight in an incredibly short time - it’s like magic.
The “run slow” mantra is just so important and makes it so doable for people who think they can’t. I feel like becoming a C25k street preacher at the moment, standing on corners shouting “get out and run slow - you’ll feel great”
Mentally I am in a very different place than when I started. The running has given me a sense of achievement which is flowing into other aspects of my life and has been noticed by friends and colleagues.
