So I did it tonight and tbh it felt like just another run which I am pleased about because i want to keep doing this.
On the other hand I am really pleased as I feel so much better than I did when I started this after Christmas π
Who ever invented this is a genius. I went from struggling with one minute to running 37 tonight in an incredibly short time - itβs like magic.
The βrun slowβ mantra is just so important and makes it so doable for people who think they canβt. I feel like becoming a C25k street preacher at the moment, standing on corners shouting βget out and run slow - youβll feel greatβ
Mentally I am in a very different place than when I started. The running has given me a sense of achievement which is flowing into other aspects of my life and has been noticed by friends and colleagues.
I want to wish everyone on this journey good luck and best wishes. Stick with the programme as it works
Sorry for yet another slightly euphoric post but itβs the running you know π

Brilliant. Well done. Hurray. I so agree. I spend my time encouraging people to do it - even posting on Facebook to encourage friends to try it. It is an amazing programme and works like magic. I started after Xmas too after a year from hell at work and physically and mentally broken. I feel a different woman now and 2 post graduation runs done and comfortably running 35 minutes and 5k. I run slow π and steady and conjure up my inner snail as someone on here advised. Now you have got me started!!!
βInner snailβ I love that phrase. Iβve been running on some very busy central London pavement over the last month. Once upon a time I would have got annoyed with people blocking me now I just love sneaking up on them slowly and jigging past them at the last moment - I call it it the snail assault π
I hope you work and your running carry on with an upward curve - what ever that means for you π
Huge congrats - totally get where youβre coming from. Iβm on the home stretch myself now wk8R2 next and cant wait to be able to say Iβve done it. Like you I feel the program is genius! Enjoy your onward journey
