Week 8 run 3 on treadmill

So I’ve been doing all my runs outside apart from one on treadmill when snow was bad. Today is week 8 run 3 and I’m considering the treadmill again. My knees don’t feel quite right ( I have arthritis in them anyway) so don’t want to go off to the hills and make them worse. My worry is last time I ran on the treadmill I struggled to find a good pace and ended up covering less than half the distance i normally do in the time . Is that normal?

Well I did it! A lot slower pace and as predicted a mile less in the total time but I kept going and back 8 weeks ago I would have given up!
